Join Wiltshire Wildlife Trust to find out all about the exciting wildlife living in the pond, from dragonfly nymphs and water beetles to amphibians like newts and frogs.
Do some dipping, get up close with the creatures and learn about why these aquatic habitats are so vital.
Make sure you wash your hands thoroughly before and after the activity: sun cream and antibacterial gel is harmful to wildlife.
Please dress appropriately for the weather and ground conditions.
This is a drop-in event, so come along any time between 4pm and 6pm.
Well behaved dogs on lead are welcome, but please remember to pick up after them.
How to get to the pond:
From the Tithe Barn, follow the river path towards Avoncliff. Keeping the Wessex Water site to your left, you will enter a field. The pond is on your left.
