A technique that has been around since the 17th Century, Mono-printing differs from other printmaking techniques in that you are essentially producing a one-off print. You can work directly from an image put underneath or over the top that can create lovely soft lines and also ink up flat objects, material, leaves etc that have texture, it can be very experimental and freeing. You could work from a portrait, landscape or abstract, just bring along plenty of source material to work with. All materials will be provided. It could get messy so an apron or old shirt would be useful.
