Bradford on Avon Town Concert

Price: £0 - donations

On Saturday 27 April a town concert will take place at Holy Trinity Church, showcasing the community’s love of music and singing to an audience of invited civic guests as well as friends from Bradford on Avon’s French twin town Sully-sur-Loire.

The concert also marks the end of Councillor Katie Vigar’s term as Mayor of Bradford on Avon and will provide an opportunity to raise money for 2 charities selected by Councillor Vigar — Alzheimer’s Support Wiltshire and Oxfam.

Local choirs — Wiltshire Wailers, Tow Path Singers and West Wiltshire Young Singers — will be joined by St Laurence School’s Random Band and, celebrating the twin town link, Sully-sur-Loire’s band will also be performing as part of their latest visit.

Sully’s band will lead the mayor and civic guests in a procession from the town council offices through the town centre to Holy Trinity Church at 4.40pm, with the concert due to begin at 5pm.

Members of the community are welcome to attend the concert but please be aware that seating will be limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis. Doors will open at 4.30pm. Due to the procession entering the church, organisers ask that everyone is seated by 4.50pm — if you arrive after this time you may be asked to wait until the procession has entered the church.
