1pm-5pm
Saturday 19 April 2025

Join us this Easter Saturday 19 April, from 1pm to 5pm for a fun-filled afternoon at the Poulton Park Fun Dog Show & Spring Fete and help us raise funds for the next stage of improvements at the Poulton Park children’s play area.

Enjoy a variety of traditional fete activities, games and stalls, including a tombola, welly wanging, toys, books as well as tea and cake and ice cream.

The dog show will feature the following classes:

Best Pedigree
Best Crossbreed
Best Puppy (6 to 12 months)
Golden Oldie (7 years plus)
Most Handsome Boy
Most Gorgeous Girl
Best Junior Handler (7 to 12 years old)
Dog That Looks Most Like Its Owner
Best Trick

Class winners will be invited into the final Best in Show class.

Registration for classes opens at 1pm with the first class starting at 2pm. Entries cost £3 per dog per class.

In the run up to the event we are also running an online competition to find BoA’s Top Dog!  The people of Bradford on Avon will vote for their favourite and the winner will be announced at the dog show and gain a place in the Best in Show class.

Visit our BoA’s Top Dog page to find out more.

Raffle

No fete would be complete without a raffle, and our amazing volunteer Lois has pulled together a fantastic selection of prizes generously donated by local businesses including a day’s narrowboat hire, a round of 18-hole golf for 4 people, a showroom valet service, theatre and concert tickets, activities and days out, health and beauty prizes, eating out and more!

Thanks to Carter & Harding Opticians for supporting the raffle.

******UPDATE******

The raffle has now been drawn.  All prize winners will have received an email notification of the prize number they have won.

Prizes that can be sent by email will be done so on Tuesday 22 April and any prizes requiring collection will be ready to collect from the town council office (also on Tuesday). Winners who will need to collect their prize will be notified by email on Tuesday.

Can you help?

We’re still in need of more volunteers to help on stalls, bake cakes etc and we’re open to ideas if people would like to volunteer to run an activity. It’s all for a great cause, so we’d love to get more of the community involved!

If you have some time to help on the day please sign up here.

Or contact the event organiser George: gtomlinson@bradfordonavontowncouncil.gov.uk if you have an idea not listed on the sign up page.
