Westbury Gardens

Located on the edge of the River Avon with a beautiful views of the historic town bridge, Westbury Garden makes the perfect picnic spot for a warm summers day.

Barton Farm Country Park

A delightful 36-acre countryside area bounded by the River Avon and the Kennet and Avon Canal that offers something for everyone – walking, rowing, fishing, nature study or just relaxing with a picnic by the River Avon. As well as delightful walks and other activities the Country Park boasts stunning historic buildings, craft and tea shops.

Barton Farm Country Park also boasts a fabulous play area

Culver Close

Culver Close is a large open space with play area located next to Victory Field and is home to three tennis courts which everyone is welcome to use all year round

During the summer, Culver Close is home the BOA Cricket team and the BoA Bowls Club, you can enjoy watching them play most weekends between April and September. During the autumn and winter the field is home to the youth football club. 

It is a great place to go for a picnic or let the kids run off some steam,

Down by the bowls club there is the fantastic play area which has not long be refurbished it’s a great place for the little ones to play and explore the country park located next it. 

Victory Field

is a large and spacious outdoor space, if your looking for somewhere to play outdoor games then look no further. The field also has a multipurpose games area for basketball or five aside football, as well as play equipment for all ages. Located next to Barton Orchard and the Tithe Barn and just off the canal tow path it makes a great stopping point for a picnic.
