We are planning to host a fundraising event at Widbrook equestrian centre on the 16th of October to raise money for a community defibrillator. This will coinside with the national Restart a Heart day.
The Marina and Equestrian Centre location plays host to a variaty of activities, of which includes equestrian sports, dog clubs, local cafes, pubs, work shops and the Riding for the Disabled Association to name a few. Not to mention a huge residential community living on the marina itself. This location is a hive of activity with no defibrillator available in the immediate vicinity.
So on the 16th of October, we are hoping to run a fund raising event open to the public to raise money for a community defibrillator in this location. As part of our fundraising we are putting on a variaty of events including cpr demonstrations, dog agility competitions and show, table top tack sales, boat rides, food and drink stalls and much more.
