Trio Paradis play a free café concert at Holy Trinity on the first Thursday of each month (Feb-Dec): informal feel-good music events with a pop-up café where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes.
August’s concert is ‘Songs of Travel’, a collection of music from exotic and not-so-exotic holiday destinations, and includes a variety of C19th & early C20th gems: Kashmiri Song by Amy Woodforde-Finden, Orientale by Cui, Bolero by Ferdinandez Arbos, Dvorak Hungarian Dance in E minor, Veneziana by Sternberg and Grieg Wedding Day at Troldhaugen.
Concerts last c45mins and entrance is free with pay-what-you-feel donation invited. Refreshments available in the café from 10.15am. No need to book, just turn up.
