Toddler and Preschool Dance Classes

In our fun and relaxed Preschool classes, parents/guardians can watch the classes while their child dances in the space just in front of them. Whether children are confident dancing on their own or could do with a bit of support, we welcome all children to come along and try our creative Ballet classes together! Infant siblings are welcome to watch too. We are maintaining social distancing and working to keeping everybody as covid-safe as possible.

9:30am Toddlers and their Grown Ups
10:15am Preschool Ballet
11am Preschool Improvers Ballet

In January and February, our theme is the Snow Queen! With our younger dancers we will be focusing on the version of the story used in ‘Frozen’ and our older dancers will use the more traditional version where the Snow Queen learns that love is the strongest magic of all. The hope is that this theme will coincide with some snow fall as has happened in previous years (Fingers Crossed!) and also link to Valentine’s Day!

On a child’s first lesson to the term’s theme, they will be given all the props that they need for the term and ask please that they are brought to every class. Children can wear whatever they would like to and the only requirement is that it is clean on that day and there is something on the feet, such as ballet shoes, house slippers, gripped socks etc. Hair must be tied back from the face with a hair band/ hair clips etc away from the mouth.
