A unique concert inside this wonderful historic building. The acts (see below) will be subtly amplified to enhance the natural acoustics of the space. The sounds will be sweeping rather than rhythmical, with an emphasis on voices in the vast open space.

Some acts will be well-known to the community, others will be new. All will be stunning in their performance.

Fly Yeti Fly are well-known in BoA and the region as a folk-singing duo with original songs and occasional well-known covers. Blending rich vocal harmonies with intricate guitar arrangements, mandolin and harmonica, and with a warmth of spirit that radiates from the stage.

Jack Jennings is one the world’s leading virtuosos in adapting Indian Classical Music to the electric guitar. He is a disciple of world-renowned sitarists Roopa Panesar and Shakir Parvez Khan, who have guided him to develop a deep Classically-rooted approach, while exploring the potential of the guitar as a new voice within Indian Classical music.

Ruby Darbyshire is a talented multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter. She has performed round the world in more than 35 countries, playing at hundreds of festivals, concerts and events, including the Cheese and Grain,  Barrowlands,  Bingley Festival and Kendall Calling. She has released an EP and her latest album came out this summer. Ruby performs on guitar and bagpipes.  

Once There Was and Once There Wasn’t are a folk duo from the West Country blending rich story-telling , harmonies and tradition with fresh energy. Rosanna (Lorikeet & Sound it Out) and Beth offer a seamless blend of soaring harmonies, acoustic guitar, double bass and occasional splash of accordion.

Jackie & Felix Byrne are a folk duo featuring the superb guitar playing of Felix and their beautiful vocal harmonies. They perform original songs and some imaginatively reworked covers.

SHE Choir are our special guests. Although based in Brighton, the choir are willing to travel to BoA to entertain us with their inventive and haunting voices. ‘It’s a choir Jim, but not as we know it!’

The event is seated. However, it will be chilly as the barn doors will be open.
A bar will be provided in the adjacent West Barn.
