Pop Up Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea
Looking for something special to do over Mother’s Day weekend? Whether you’re honouring the concept of the Mother, celebrating someone else or being celebrated, why not book our homemade afternoon tea in our pop-up tearoom in pretty Bradford on Avon. We’ll spoil you and your guests with homemade finger sandwiches, freshly made cakes, scones and treats, unlimited tea and a glass of bubbly per person.
We’re transforming our newly decorated pink and gold party/meeting/making space in The Shambles with bunting, white linens and vintage china, provided by experienced tea party caterers, The Secret Tea Party (www.thesecretteaparty.com). We’re looking forward to welcoming just 10 people in total per sitting (3 sittings per day – at 11am, 1.45pm and 4.15pm), so you’re guaranteed lots of attention and a tranquil, unique experience using authentic cups, saucers and three tiered cake-stands and a glass of bubbly and little favour for each guest. Book a tea and take a stroll along the canal or past the town’s heritage buildings and make a day of it.
A note about the catering: This is provided by experienced tea party specialists The Secret Tea Party Dietary requirements can be catered for at no extra cost if the organisers are contacted in advance. The Afternoon Tea Menu comprises pp: 6 finger sandwiches, 1 scone with cream and jam, 1 sausage roll, 1 mini cupcake, 2 petit fours, unlimited tea with milk and a glass of bubbly. A note about the venue: We are up a short but steep flight of stairs which makes access a little tricky for some. Parking is available on the street or in St Margaret’s Car Park or the Station Car Park.Bradford on Avon is easy to access by train and by road and is just 10 minutes from Bath on the train.
Slots are 2 hours each (at 11am, 1.45pm and 4.15pm) which hopefully gives you plenty of time to enjoy yourselves and indulge in Britain’s favourite meal. We are also run-ing the tearoom on Sat March 30th.
