Paint Like an Impressionist

The impressionist artists were all about trying to capture the fleeting light as they painted outside. Sun drenched landscapes and colourful lavender fields in Provence were often the subject of these artists and this workshop will also focus on these subjects. We will look at the history and some well-known paintings from the era before learning some colour theory and Impressionist techniques to help you create a bright, colourful landscape in acrylics. Something to warm you up on a winter’s day!
