Live Music Festival Opening Night – Wiltshire Music Centre

Price: ££5 / £7 / £10 donation towards the live music festival

Bradford on Avon Live Music Centre is proud to return for another year, with it’s opening night held at the Wiltshire Music Centre on Friday 29th May 2026 from 7pm-10.30pm, featuring:

Peter Hamill (Van De Graaf Generator) – live interview and Q&A
As a solo artist or in the band he formed, Van der Graaf Generator, the hugely influential and  innovative Hammill has been a working singer, songwriter and musician for the last 55 years, exploring many different styles of music across a recording career of more than 50 albums, with 8 of these created right here in Bradford on Avon. Join Daniel Clark, Artistic Director at Wiltshire Music Centre and Peter, as they discuss his extraordinary career and work.

Stuart Ryan and Adam Miller – live guitar duo
From recording guitars on movie scores to topping the charts with his best-selling guitar instruction books, local resident Stuart Ryan is a versatile and sought-after guitarist and was awarded Guitarist Magazine’s ‘Acoustic Guitarist of the Year’. He will be joined by one of the world’s greatest acoustic guitarists – Australian guitar virtuoso Adam Miller. With a career spanning 20 years, Adam has toured the globe many times over, regularly sharing the stage with many of the greats – from Tommy Emmanuel to Les Paul to Charlie Hunter. Tonight sees a one of a kind guitar duo from two of the globe’s best players.

Reubens Daughters – Sunny six piece indie-pop
Local singer songwriter and composer Reuben Myles Tyghe and his six-piece band bring their intricate and playful indie pop to the Wiltshire Music Centre for their WMC debut. With a sound recalling The Sea and Cake’s airy post-rock sonics, the wooly chamber-pop of Super Furry Animals godhead Gruff Rhys, and The Beta Band’s more acoustic moments, their live show is psychedelic, sun filled and progressive indie-folk that will leave you smiling from ear to ear.

Plus cocktails from Little Rituals, Rare grooves in the bar from Graham S the DJ, Food trucks and more!
Little Rituals will be supplying cocktails alongside a special vinyl selection of upbeat rare grooves from BOA’s Graham S the DJ and delicious food trucks, bringing the food!
