Autumn is the season for fungi, a largely hidden kingdom that is neither plant nor animal.

Ali Green has been hunting, photographing, collecting and cooking them for half a century. In her powerpoint presentation she will be sharing her experience of how to look for and identify this vast family that thrives in networks across the world, yet remains mysterious to most of us.
Ali will show you how to find fungi growing on grassland, in trees and on the forest floor, and how to distinguish the deliciously edible from the fatally poisonous.
