Join us for an evening of award-winning Palestinian films showing how daily events we take for granted, such as buying a fridge for your wife or starting life as a young married couple are presented with almost insurmountable obstacles. The two films are:
The Present – short film, Oscar-nominated in 2020
Pomegranates & Myrrh – a lovely romantic film combining conflict and dancing.
This will also be a social evening, with a 30-minute break between the two films where mulled drinks, either non-alcoholic or with wine will be served with mince-pies and biscuits.
Doors will open at 7 pm
