Bradfordians Dramatic Society Present Media

Price: £12/£10 per consession

The legend of Medea is part of the Ancient Greek Myths passed down from generation to generation by word of mouth. This story tells of Jason and the Argonauts who set sail to steal the Golden Fleece. Jason manages to take the fleece from the island of Colchis but only with the help of Medea. They escape together and he marries her and brings her back to Greece together with their 2 children. But the marriage to a ‘Non-Greek’ is not recognised and she is shunned by everyone including Jason himself. An unwanted immigrant she is humiliated to the point where she takes a terrible revenge…

The first time The Bradfordians have staged a Greek Tragedy and are fortunate to have the use of the spectacular Holy Trinity Church. It will be visually stunning!
