Behind the Scenes at the Saxon Church

A talk by Rob Arkell, who took part in the geophysical survey of the Saxon church in 2023.

Rob will describe the history and structure of the Saxon church of St Laurence, and the restoration which followed its rediscovery. The talk will also examine the relationship between Canon Jones, the vicar, and the trustees and architects, as well as summarising the latest research.

Ticket price includes a hot drink before the talk starts. Doors open at 7pm
