There are plenty of interesting attractions and places to visit in Bradford on Avon and the surrounding area.

Bradford on Avon Attractions

Wiltshire is one of the most interesting and attractive counties in the country.  In particular the West Wiltshire area.  With its close proximity to the beautiful Georgian city of Bath just over the border, to Salisbury with its tallest spire, the Calne flight of amazing locks, Castle Combe, Corsham, Devizes, Lacock and of course the stunning woollen town of Bradford on Avon itself.

Staying in this part of Wiltshire gives the visitor an excellent base from which to branch out and see other areas in a short space of time. Wiltshire - you'll be spoiled for choice!

Bath and Beyond

The historic Georgian city with Roman origins, Bath offers a wealth of attractions for all visitors. The city centre can be explored in an afternoon and contains a lovely selection of specialist shops, restaurants and pubs. The historic Roman Baths offer an insight into the city during the Roman occupation of Britain and the Georgian Pump Room is well worth a visit.  .

There are many interesting and varied places to go for those with families who need to find something to please all ages.  Ranging from historical sites and gardens to city farms and interesting museums. There is a wealth of information and fun to be found in Wiltshire.

Houses and Gardens

There are some stunning gardens to visit at this end of Wiltshire.  From beautiful country houses with manicured gardens in Bradford on Avon itself to the landscapes of Stourhead, Longleat and Dyrham Park just across the county border.
