Bradford on Avon Welcomes Cyclists

The National Cycle Network was established by Sustrans, the sustainable transport charity.  There are now more than 12,000 miles of cycle routes across the UK.
Two NCN routes run through Bradford on Avon:
Route 4 from West to East, mainly on the Kennet & Avon Canal path with some quiet roads. Route 254 from North to South, predominantly on quiet roads with some main road sections. This route also follows the Wiltshire Cycleway.

All NCN routes are monitored by Volunteer Rangers, who carry out minor maintenance tasks and check signing;several local rangers live in and around BoA and keep an eye on the K&A Canal path as well as route 254.

Call into the TIC for maps and other routes, such as the Two Tunnels.
