Climate Friendly Bradford On Avon

Working for a low carbon future!

Climate Friendly is a very active community group whose main aim is to reduce carbon emissions in the Bradford on Avon Community Area.

The group was founded in 2006 through Wiltshire Wildlife Trust Initiative. They now have over 600 names on their e-mail list and nearly 800 signed up to the Carbon Neutral 2050 Declaration. You can find out more about Climate Friendly's activities since 2006 in the Town Library where there are folders of clippings about CFB's activities and climate change related articles; they are in the reference section near the main desk.

CFB activities are very wide ranging, both fun and serious and they take every opportunity to raise awareness and take practical action. The group is totally inclusive and there is plenty of opportunity for people of all ages, abilities and interests to get involved.

Climate Friendly belongs to the Climate Coalition and Low Carbon Communities Network and are signed up to the 10:10 campaign.

They aim to influence policy and regularly engage with local and national politicians. For CFB's aims and more information visit www.climatefriendlybradfordonavon.co.uk
