The Bradfordians Dramatic Society

An energetic, enthusiastic group of people dedicated to achieving the highest standards of productions for the enjoyment and entertainment of the people of Bradford-on-Avon and the surrounding areas

Bradford on Avon Bowls Club

Founded in 1911 we are one of the oldest Bowls Clubs in Wiltshire, we moved to our present site in 1966 from the original one at the Rowing Club adjacent the river at Barton Farm as flooding was common at that time. Culver Close is situated in a country park close to the river surrounded by open fields and tree lined games areas and is the ideal spot for a bowls green.

Holy Trinity Church
Supporting the community through prayer and service since 1150 AD.

Enquiries regarding baptisms, weddings, funerals and spiritual matters are always welcome.  Guided tours of the Church building are available by arrangement and the church is open to all every afternoon from 2.30 - 4.30pm in the summer and during other festivals throughout the year.  It is also an excellent venue for concerts.

 

Climate Friendly Bradford on Avon

A group of local people working under an initiative from Wiltshire Wildlife Trust. The project is designed to promote sustainable development in communities throughout Wiltshire and Swindon, with the potential to roll out nationally.

Bradford on Avon and Sully-sur-Loire Twinning Association

We run annual exchange visits between BOA and Sully, staying in each other's homes. It's and excellent way to discover France, make friends, enjoy the lifestyle and pick up some French.  There are also local social events.  New members of all ages are very welcome, contact 01225 867007.  Speaking some French helps, but is not essential. Dates of meetings and visits to Sully for 2009 to be confirmed.

BOA Lifesaving & Lifeguard Club

Meet every Saturday at BOA Swimming Pool (5 - 6.30pm)

Con Brio

Con Brio is a mixed voice choir of 35 voices.  They are based in the Wiltshire town of Bradford on Avon.  Since their inauguration they have performed in a variety of venues around the area including the Guildhall, Bath and the Civic Hall in Trowbridge as well as further afield at Yeovil, Exeter and Witheridge in Devon.  Charities benefiting from their events include Cruse, Childline, RNLI, & Children In Need as well as local churches & organisations.   New members welcome.

Voluntary Action West Wilts

Volunteer Centre West Wiltshire can help match both individuals and groups interested in volunteering with appropriate opportunities in the local community. The Volunteer Centre holds information on a comprehensive range of opportunities. We offer potential volunteers support and advice matching their motivation to volunteer with appropriate volunteering opportunities.

Bradford Choral Society

Bradford on Avon Choral Society was founded in 1986 as a community choir for the local area.  Its members are enthusiastic amateurs who enjoy being part of the great British tradition of choral singing.  The Choral Society performs regular concerts in the Bradford area, and new members are always welcome.
